Coordinator

Hello, my name is Carol LaSalle and I'm the coordinator of the African American Special Interest Group. We meet the second Wednesday of each month from Noon to 1:50 p.m. in the Neptune Beach Room at the Sea Breeze Recreation Center, 2384 Buena Vista Blvd. No meetings June through August and December. If you have a question about this SIG, send me an email at clasalle585@gmail.com with your question and I will respond as quickly as I can.

The focus of the group is to assist members with research of African American Ancestors. Each meeting will consist of a presentation followed by Q&A.
Members are encouraged to bring information on specific ancestors to discuss further strategies for individual research.
This group is open to residents of The Villages who are members of The Villages Genealogical Society. New members are always welcome, applications are available at the door.  Dues are $10 the first year, $5 a year afterwards.
