Genealogy, family stories, oral history and traditions all entwine and recap the story of an individuals's life. Every member has a story to tell either about yourself or other family members. Learn to record and retell these legacy stories for future generations.
Generally, this SIG meets the second Tuesday of the month from 2:30p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the SeaBreeze Recreation Center – we do not meet in June, July & August. For meeting dates and topics, check the website's Coming Events for the most up-to-date information. You must be a member of The Villages Genealogical Society to participate in our meetings.
Anyone interested in preserving their family history is welcome to attend. Let us know which topics would be most helpful in your family history journey. If you have a question about this SIG, send an email to Sharol (click HERE) or Nancy (click HERE) and they will respond as quickly as they can.
