Hello, my name is Phil Goldsmith and I am the coordinator of the Jewish Genealogy Special Interest Group. Jerry Schwartz is our Program Chair. Our group meets the first Monday of the month from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Eisenhower Recreational Center (no meetings in July and September). For the most up-to-date information on meeting dates, check the Coming Events calendar on the website. If you have any questions about this SIG, send an email to me and I'll respond as quickly as I can. You can also contact me directly at (352) 751-2385.
The Jewish Genealogy SIG brings together Villagers interested in exploring their Jewish roots, Ashkenazic and Sephardic, both here and in their ancestral country. Each meeting will have a theme, sometimes a guest speaker, but all will have time for some informal networking, getting help from our genealogy mavens, and learning from each other. Who knows, we might even have a nosh!
New members are welcome. You must be a member of The Villages Genealogical Society to participate in our meetings. If you are not a member but would like to be, please visit our Membership Information section on our website.
Meeting Location
Eisenhower Recreation Center, 3560 Buena Vista Blvd.
